Winter Season planned
We are pleased to announce that AGSD-UK is going to offer a series of talks and presentations for different GSDs over the next few months. We envisage that most will be pre-recorded and available for an extended period, so you can watch them at leisure.
It was very sad not to be able to gather together in October for our annual conference. Not only did we all miss the brilliant speakers and medical updates but we missed meeting you, friends, old and new. It has taken some time for us to regroup and decide what’s best.
Fabulous speakers giving talks
From Monday 7th December we will be uploading videos each Monday that will cover a range of GSD topics from top medical practitioners as well as some patient stories. We are grateful to all the pre-booked speakers who have patiently waited to deliver their important messages. A few highlights you can look forward to; Dr Mark Roberts will provide a Pompe Research Update. Dr Priya Kishnani is delivering a talk for both GSD3 and for IOPD. Dr Stacey Reason will be speaking about McArdle’s and International Developments with IamGSD.
We will also be offering a few events during the season which will include two quizzes for children in different age groups with lots of individual prizes!
Winter Season Producer
Vicki Lucass has been recruited as Season Producer and can be contacted at seasonproducer@agsd.org.uk. She is going to work hard to ensure we provide you with the updates that would usually have happened at our face-to-face conference. A programme will be made available soon.

What a great initiative, some of the best ideas come out of adversity, maybe this is something that will continue into the future. I really enjoyed the presentation on diet for Pompe by Dr Gisela Wilcox – it was really interesting to hear the science behind diet. Thank you.
Really looking forward to Priya’s talk.
I’m looking forward to hosting the children’s quizzes, it will be lovely to see some new faces and have some well deserved fun together.
AGSD-UK, and in particular Jane, has worked tirelessly throughout this year to ensure we are all well supported, thankyou so much. Stay safe all
What a great initiative. I’m sure it will be much appreciated.
Going to be a fabulous event, really looking forward to hearing all the talks and presentations!
