IamGSD and CNMD to host workshop
Clinicians and researchers into McArdle disease are being invited to a workshop on the future of nutrition for McArdle’s. This is to be held at the MRC Centre for Neuromuscular Disease in Queen Square, London, on 16/17 November 2018. The workshop will consider what existing evidence there is for different dietary approaches including carbohydrate, protein, fat and ketones. It is hoped to highlight the outcome measures which are important to patients, and consider the possible research agenda for the coming decade.
