A message from Prof. Jordi Díaz-Manera
The John Walton Muscular Dystrophy Research Centre in Newcastle is running a new study in Pompe disease.
They are collecting serum samples of patients with late onset Pompe disease to investigate the presence of antibodies anti-adenovirus. This information is crucial for the design of the new gene therapy clinical trials that are arriving to the field.
Prof. Jordi Daíz-Manera is the Principal Investigator of the project.
