NICE are looking for lay members to join the highly specialised technologies evaluation committee.
You can apply if you have an understanding of rare diseases, the medicines used to treat them and the issues important to: patients, people using services and their families, unpaid carers and the public.
If you have any of the following experiences, you are welcome to apply for this position:
- have personal experience of treatment and care provided for by the NHS,
- are a relative or unpaid carer of someone who has used relevant health services
- are an advocate, volunteer, or officer of a relevant charity or organisation.
