The daughter of one of our members rode her mountain bike, as part of a small team, from John O’Groats to Lands’ End. Lucy Wright raised over £2400 (+ £434 Gift Aid).
We all just want to say a massive thank you to everyone for all your support. I wish we could list everyone individually, but there is just too many. We started planning this trip last year, and my gosh it’s took some planning. We wanted to take on this challenge for two amazing charities and two special people Lydia and Joan to raise as much awareness and pennies as possible and can’t believe how we are achieving that. We are all blown away. The support we have received from start to finish has been amazing. The generosity of people wanting to help. The donations of raffle prizes, banners, jerseys, kit, donations on our JustGiving pages. Friends and family helping with events, selling cakes, raffle tickets, etc – the list just goes on. The ride has been an adventure all four of us will never forget. We want to thank everyone for all the likes, comments, texts, donations, visitors and general support throughout the ride and this year. We will be forever grateful you’ll never know how much it meant to us all and the charities and their families. A special mention to our Boss Carole who fed and watered us, put up with our moans, groans and tantrums. Without all her hard work and support we couldn’t have done it. We love you boss. Finally, to everyone THANK YOU. We really hope you have enjoyed following us and we have kept you entertained for the past 13 days.
