We hold an annual conference for those affected by GSD and their families, doctors researchers and other medical professionals. We also attend and support international conferences on GSD.
The AGSD-UK holds an Annual Conference which usually takes place over a weekend in the autumn, based at a hotel. The programme is from midday on a Saturday to after lunch on Sunday.
The programme normally includes a main speaker on a topic relevant to all, news and updates, the association’s AGM and, most importantly, workshops on the various GSD variants. A creche is provided. Members also appreciate the opportunity for a social get-together on the Saturday evening.
AGSD-UK members have expressed a preference for the Annual Conference to be held in a different part of the country each year, so this is what the Trustees endeavour to achieve.
